Just for share a story from class today ^^, Did you know the purpose from filling your gender on your resume, especially in Indonesia? Well many name of Indonesian people have ambiguous meaning, which is can show for both of gender. Such as name Endang that usually for female name, but in Sunda it was refer to male name. So simple thing such gender are very important for the company.
At this moment many company are not ask for your race. Cause I guess race are much more private things. Same thing happen in U.S. also, they are not ask the religion of applicant anymore. Other story about job interview, there`s also some service company that require flawless skin for the applicant. Well i have no idea the relation flawless with the purpose of the company. I guess it`s one kind of flatterer. I hope there will be another nice story from my beautiful country, Indonesia ^^
